Financial Technologies Forum (FTF), a media company to Wall Street, is looking to fill an immediate position for a conference and marketing intern in our NYC office. The internship consists of conference prep, speaker outreach, and other marketing tasks leading up to our 2019 events. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent grad or rising junior or senior college student to gain hands-on experience with all areas of a small business. We are an office of passionate, high-energy, dedicated people and we are looking for an intern that fits into our corporate culture.
This is a paid internship opportunity and prefers a candidate that can make a commitment of at least three months. Intern would be required to come into the office daily or if still in school, work out a schedule around course load.
We enjoy talking about current events and what’s for lunch, listening to music while we work and playing a good prank on each other. While we encourage a fun working environment, we are serious about the quality of the work we produce and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Conference Producer with organizing speakers for all upcoming Spring events
- Assist with social media and marketing of all upcoming Spring events
- Assist with inviting guests to upcoming Spring events
- Assist President and other team members with various office tasks
- Assist with upkeep of database information
- Assist with updating web site with various conference information and news articles
- Posting news content on web site and updating daily News Alerts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or rising junior or senior at an accredited college or university
