Convergex, an agency-focused brokerage and trading-related services provider, reports that Frederick Arnold has joined the firm as chief financial officer (CFO).
Arnold will oversee all global financial operations and serve on the executive committee, responsible for providing organizational guidance and governance, Convergex officials say.
Currently a director of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and Corporate Capital Trust, Arnold is an industry veteran who has held CFO and “financial leadership positions at major global financial services and manufacturing firms.”
Convergex officials note also that from 2009 to 2011, he “served as executive vice president and CFO of Capmark Financial Group (formerly GMAC Commercial Mortgage), and from 2006 to 2007, he oversaw the global finance functions of Masonite International as the firm’s executive vice president for finance.
“From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Arnold held senior financial positions at Willis Group Holdings, a global insurance broker based in London. An expert in global capital markets, he has two decades of investment banking experience, including positions at Arnhold & S. Bleichroeder, Smith Barney and Lehman Brothers,” Convergex officials add.
Arnold will be based at Convergex’s headquarters in New York.
