Advisory solutions and wealth management IT vendor Vestmark has hired Tiffany Freitas as its new chief financial officer (CFO), officials say.
In her new role, Freitas will oversee the financial planning, corporate development, accounting, and investor relations groups, reporting to the CEO, officials say.
The moves comes as Vestmark is on a “tremendous growth trajectory and surpasses over 1.5 million accounts managed on its software as a service (SaaS) offering,” according to a company statement.
Vestmark’s previous CFO, Christine Bodoin, has been appointed to the newly-created position of chief administrative officer, a role “created to further support Vestmark’s rapid expansion,” the statement says.
Freitas joins Vestmark from Disney, where she was vice president of finance for the Interactive division, officials say. She has also worked at Bain Consulting and in investment banking at Citigroup.
“In selecting a new CFO, it was important to find a leader with the necessary experience to help scale a rapidly growing SaaS company at this critical juncture as we expand operations to support industry demand,” says John Lunny, CEO of Vestmark, in a prepared statement. “Tiffany’s proven track record will help Vestmark reach our next set of goals and path to an IPO.”
