NEX Optimisation Sales Head to Expand Partnership
NEX Optimisation, which characterizes itself as a transaction lifecycle specialist, reports that Paul Busby has been named global head of sales for New York-headquartered ENSO Financial Analytics, its “portfolio finance and centralized treasury management” software tools for the buy-side.
He will be responsible for “expanding sales and strategic partnerships across the US, EMEA and APAC regions, reporting to Matthew Bernard, CEO of ENSO,” according to a NEX statement.
Busby has more than 25 years of senior experience in prime brokerage, equity finance and securities lending, and joins from HSBC where he most recently held the position of head of prime finance sales Americas, according to the statement.
Prior to HSBC, he was the co-head of equity finance Americas and head of securities lending Americas at Deutsche Bank, NEX says.
UnaVista Adds Two to U.S. Corporate Office
UnaVista, the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG)-hosted platform for regulatory reporting, reference data and analytics, has named
Samuel Hyman senior sales director and Marquis Green marketing manager.
They will be based at the LSEG U.S. corporate office in New York.
Hyman has nearly two decades of experience in financial markets, at such companies as ICE Data Services, Bloomberg and NEX-TriOptima, officials say. Green has 10 years of experience at S&P Global, primarily focused on strategic product marketing initiatives, according to an UnaVista statement.
RegTek.Solutions Hires David Morris from UnaVista
Trade reporting and compliance software vendor RegTek.Solutions has David Morris from UnaVista to take on the role of product manager, officials say.
Morris has more than 10 years of experience in the specialist financial technology sector and will be based in RegTek’s London office, officials add. At UnaVista, Morris held a senior product management position and before that post he was with Eze Software.
“This strategic hire reflects increasing demand that RegTek.Solutions is experiencing in Europe due to impending regulatory reporting deadlines that its software addresses, such as MiFID II and the EMIR RTS Re-Write,” according to a statement from the vendor.
Formed in 2017, RegTek Solutions is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Risk Focus Inc., the company that developed the original vision, development and distribution of the Report-It Control Suite, including Validate.Trade, Reportable.Trade, Load.Trade and Reconcile.Trade, officials say.
Axioma Taps IHS Markit for Chief Revenue Officer
Axioma, headquartered in New York, reports the appointment of Thomas D. Severance to the newly created
position of senior managing director and chief revenue officer.
Severance was previously at IHS Markit, where he most recently served as managing director, Markit Analytics, heading its risk strategy and analytics business in the Americas, according to an Axioma statement.
At that post, he led the Americas operations of Markit Analytics, which provides a range of enterprise risk management software and solutions, per the statement.
Earlier, Severance was regional director, Latin America for Misys, a provider of financial services software and solutions for retail and corporate banking, lending, treasury, capital markets, investment management and enterprise risk, Axioma says.
Before Misys, Severance was executive vice president, sales and marketing at information and analytics provider, Armanta, Inc., and executive vice president and head of global sales for Quic Financial Technologies, a developer of simulation, risk calculation, and pricing platform solutions, officials say. Severance also served as managing director of North America at Algorithmics, a risk management software vendor acquired by IBM in 2011.
