Tradier Brokerage is hoping to expand the reach of its brokerage application programming interface (API) through a partnership with Apex Clearing Corp., to serve the growing digital advisory community and registered investment advisors (RIAs) that need robo-advisor capabilities, officials say.
The expanded offering will bring together Apex’s clearing and execution platform with Tradier’s API to provide digital advisors access to a platform that bundles brokerage operations, clearing, trading and real-time streaming data from Tradier Brokerage.
“Digital Advisors are looking for technology solutions that empower them to create products that both the current and future generation of investors need,” says Dan Raju, CEO and co-founder of Tradier, in a prepared statement. “In essence, advisors can access a one-stop destination for a complete experience from clearing, trading, execution and other services.”
The collaboration with Tradier demonstrates how Apex’s clearing and execution technology can deliver “creative solutions that help our clients run their businesses more efficiently and put more control in the hands of their customers,” says Danny Rosenthal, CEO of Apex Clearing Corp. in a statement. Apex offers clearing, custody, execution, and technology.
Tradier Brokerage, a member FINRA and SIPC, is an independent subsidiary of Tradier, Inc., a cloud-based financial services provider and brokerage API company. Specifically, the Tradier solution features REST-based and streaming APIs, and turnkey tools via a secure platform. The platform serves platform providers, advisors, developers and individual investors.
Tradier also offers fully hosted APIs, modules and “out of the box” tools for providers seeking to create trading and investing experiences, officials say.
Created by developers, Tradier works with organizations that “want to democratize access to data, trade execution, low-cost trading and market connectivity through cloud access,” officials say.
Tradier’s APIs are also available to third-party developers to build applications such as algorithmic and robotic trading systems.
