Investment management systems vendor SimCorp has hired Scott Johnson, formerly of the financial consultancies Capco and Sapient Global Markets, as a vice president and head of sales for North America, officials say.
In his new role, Johnson will be responsible for heading up a team of sales professionals and product specialists. He will be based in New York.
Johnson has more than 20 years of experience in software and solutions sales, and most recently worked at Sapient as a vice president of business development, officials say. Prior to that, he was head of North American sales for package integration at Capco.
“I am confident that Scott’s industry knowledge, leadership and proven track record in sales will prove significantly beneficial as we continue our strive toward becoming the partner of choice for asset managers across the U.S. and Canada,” says James Corrigan, managing director for SimCorp North America, in a prepared statement.
