Finsapp, a specialist system integrator for the SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) software provider, and Volante Technologies, a provider of software for the integration, validation and processing of financial messages and data, report that they have entered into a partnership to build business domain solutions.
The solutions will be “based on interbank, intrabank and bank to corporate financial data message flows,” according to the companies.
Under the terms of the partnership, Finsapp has “invested in the training of its domain expert resources in the use of Volante’s Designer and Composer products,” according to a statement. Finsapp has domain expertise in the banking, capital markets and insurance markets.
“Volante software enables the integration, validation and processing of financial data messaging,” according to the joint announcement. “The investment enables Finsapp to bring to market solutions that address functions based on analyzing and displaying the data content embedded in message flows across the transaction lifecycle.”
In turn, Finsapp will have “access to Volante off-the-shelf software and tools that will dramatically add to the productivity of development and compress delivery times for customer projects,” the statement says. “The combination of Volante’s technology and Finsapp’s domain expertise enables firms to reduce costs whilst increasing their agility and response time to business demands. Finsapp’s deep knowledge of data analytics, dashboard design and reporting enables the information lens to be built on the message flows handled by Volante at the semantic level.”
Volante’s standardized-messages library includes ISO 15022 and ISO 20022, FIX, FpML, XBRL, SWIFT messaging and EDIFACT, the companies says.
The new partnership enables Finsapp to access “one of the market’s best kept secrets in terms of accumulated IP [intellectual property] on financial messages and data and ensures we can deliver solutions to our clients that are quicker, better and deliver more on-going flexibility,” Pawan Sharma, Finsapp’s chief technology officer, says in the statement.
