FTF News is happy to announce a big step for us and we hope a major boost to what we are providing to you — we will be the exclusive media partner for ISITC throughout 2019.
As you know, the ISITC industry trade group has made a major commitment to foster standards and best practices for financial services operations that emphasize efficiency and advancement. The group has the strong support of investment managers, broker-dealers, custodians, operations utilities and technology vendors. The results of ISITC’s committees and related efforts facilitate the creation of essential and enhanced products and services. ISITC has been in existence for 28 years and has built up a membership of more than 2,000 financial services professionals representing more than 60 firms and trillions of dollars in assets under management/assets under administration. And, for those who do not know our history, Financial Technologies Forum (FTF) was founded in 2006, and is a woman-owned media company that delivers securities industry news, other useful content, premier conferences, interactive webinars, and a variety of special events for the professionals that make capital markets work. Our special focus is on middle- and back-office operations, IT innovation and advances in compliance, regulation, market structure and key aspects of global securities processing.
C-suite executives and senior level securities professionals from leading financial services institutions, upstart firms, service providers and financial technology companies constitute the client base for FTF. The online news service, FTF News, and magazine FTF Focus offer original editorial content, news updates, in-depth analysis and industry research on all things related to securities operations, fintech, compliance, regulatory matters and trends affecting middle and back-office operations.
The new, extended FTF-ISITC alignment began January 1 and will last until the end of this year. The partnership will grant exclusive editorial rights to FTF News to cover ISITC events, and encompasses cross-promotion of each organization’s respective events. We will be joining forces for ISITC’s 25th Annual Securities Operations Summit, March 24 to 27, 2019 in Boston; the theme for the event will be “Financial Services Disrupted: Charting the Course.”
FTF News will be there to cover featured speakers, relay insights gathered from the conference sessions and cover hot subjects such as the impacts of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), blockchain/distributed ledger technology (DLT), data management trends, strategies for application programming interface (API) frameworks, and the need for gender diversity in the financial services industry.
The idea for a greater alignment followed our media partnership with ISITC last year when it became clear that the two organizations shared goals and a commitment to promoting excellence in securities operations.
