Financial Technologies Forum reveals the winners of the 2019 FTF Awards.
NEW YORK CITY — A mix of disruptive and established technology providers have made the winner’s circle of the FTF News Technology Innovation Awards (the FTF Awards), which Financial Technologies Forum (FTF) is revealing today.
For instance, for the Best Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) Initiative, the winner is Synechron while TCS BaNCS and its Quartz effort won Best Blockchain Breakthrough of the Year.
For the individual and top provider award categories, the winners are:
- FinTech Person of the Year: John Lunny, CEO of Vestmark;
- Ops Business Person of the Year: Tom Carey, president of global technology and operations (GTO), Broadridge Financial Solutions;
- Service Provider of the Year: Broadridge Financial Solutions;
- And Software Solution of the Year: Murex
Other than the Editor’s Choice award, securities operations professionals within the financial services industry selected this year’s winners for achievements in 2018. Industry participants also put forward suggestions for nominees via an online processe. FTF approved the final list of nominees but did not pick the ultimate winners.
The FTF Awards winners will be honored at this year’s awards ceremony, slated for Thursday, June 27, at the Loeb Boathouse of Central Park, at Park Drive North, East 72nd St, New York, NY 10021. The Editor’s Choice Award will be announced in time for the gala celebration.
“We congratulate the more than 75 nominated companies and 26 winners of this year’s FTF Awards, and we thank our readers and industry participants for submitting 15,000-plus votes,” says Maureen Lowe, founder and president of FTF, and editor-in-chief and publisher of FTF News.
“The FinTech space continues to be a very exciting and competitive industry, and it can also be one of the most rewarding. Being recognized as one of the top solution or service providers by clients and peers is a great honor, and one that the nominees and winners should be proud of. We look forward to celebrating with industry participants on June 27 at The Boathouse in Central Park,” Lowe adds.
In 2011, FTF and FTF News established the awards to honor the professionals, financial technology vendors, service providers, industry bodies and regulators that have made breakthroughs and advances in securities operations.
