The 2021 FTF News Technology Innovation Awards nomination process officially got underway Monday, January 11, and will continue until Feb. 12.
Now in its tenth year, the FTF Awards competition is an opportunity to celebrate and recognize the professionals, financial technology vendors, service providers, industry associations, financial services firms, and regulators that make significant advances in operational excellence.
For this cycle, the awards process will honor achievement during the very challenging year of 2020.
Other than the Editor’s Choice award, each of the categories is competitive and the winners are chosen by securities industry participants.
Among the new aspects of the FTF Awards are seven new categories that reflect the dynamics of securities operations and processing, industry trends, and unique market conditions:
- Best Cloud-Native Computing Initiative
- Best Corporate Actions Data Provider
- Best Cyber-Security Solution
- Best Digital Transformation Solutions Provider
- Best Digital Workplace Collaboration System
- Best Professional Services Provider
- Best Systems Integrator Amid the COVID-19 Crisis
We strongly encourage you to consider sharing your 2020 achievements in financial technology innovation, operational efficiency, and related areas of excellence. The full details about the new categories can be found here: http://bit.ly/2XHU5nq
We also strongly urge all nominees to provide as much detail as possible to help us get a complete view of your achievements. Please also focus your nominations for the right categories.
After FTF reviews all the nominations (which is a major task) the official nominations will be unveiled on March 1, when voting officially starts. The online voting process will end on May 14 (no waiting in lines).
Just to be clear, individuals may not vote for their own companies. This includes public relations companies that represent nominees or a subsidiary or parent company of the nominee. These votes will be automatically disqualified.
Securities industry peers, clients and other relevant industry professionals are eligible to vote and to pick the winners. Please do not ask spouses, siblings, children, parents, grandparents, random friends, or loyal pets to participate in the voting process. Only votes from business e-mail addresses will be considered. Votes from personal e-mail addresses will not be counted.
We highly encourage nominees to ask their industry clients to take part in the voting process and make it as robust as possible.
Winners will be announced on June 7, 2021.
As for our beloved galas, we are cautiously optimistic that we will be able to celebrate sometime in 2021 at The Loeb Boathouse Central Park. More information about gathering will be forthcoming as this year unfolds.
In the meantime, submit those nominations and let’s get the ball rolling!
