Sara Jean Goodman and Paul Dimtsis have joined the sales and marketing teams of exchange connectivity specialist Born Technology to help the vendor expand its international reach, officials say.
Based in Chicago, Goodman joins as director of sales and marketing, covering sales in Chicago, London and Europe, officials say. She will also lead strategic and digital marketing initiatives, including revamping the website and establishing Born Technology branding.
Goodman has experience in brokerage and technology marketing, officials say. She has worked in the marketing group of Chicago-based broker Advantage Futures and later joined technology vendor RTS Realtime Systems as manager of marketing and communications, Europe. Based in the firm’s Frankfurt office, she handled European marketing and advertising, and shared global marketing efforts.
Dimtsis will take on the role of managing director of sales, based in Toronto, officials say. He will oversee sales of complete product solutions to Canadian banks and other financial institutions in the Americas, handling Canadian and New York sales territories.
Most recently, Dimtsis was director of sales for NYSE Technologies, where he covered all sales in Canada focusing on
the exchange’s SFTI network, Wombat/Market Data offerings, and Global Liquidity Hubs. Prior to that he was director of sales in Canada for Orc Software, one of Born Technology’s closest partners.
Goodman and Dimtsis will report directly to Tyler Beauregard, executive director of Born Technology.
In addition to exchange links, Born Technology, based in Chicago, offers turnkey co-location, direct market access and server hosting solutions.
