SimCorp, a provider of investment management solutions and services, has named James Corrigan managing director of SimCorp’s North American operations. Corrigan joins the company after seven years at SunGard Financial Systems, where he was most recently executive vice president of capital markets and global trading.
As SimCorp N.A. MD, Corrigan will “focus his efforts on expanding SimCorp’s footprint in the U.S. and Canada, while ensuring the success of the growing SimCorp user community in the region,” according to a statement.
“North America is a key market for SimCorp where demand is driven by the need to replace legacy systems with modern solutions that can reduce cost and operational risk while also provisioning for growth,” SimCorp CEO Klaus Holse says in the statement, in which he also salutes Corrigan’s track record.
