Nigel Gurney, the newly appointed chief financial officer (CFO) at Lombard Risk Management, has also become a member of the Lombard board, reports the provider of integrated collateral management, regulatory compliance and reporting solutions.
Gurney is a chartered accountant with 20 years of experience in the financial services, wholesale distribution and telecommunications industries.
He was previously CFO at Lepe Partners, a U.K.-based merchant bank specializing in the media, Internet and consumer sectors. Prior to that, he was CFO of Merchant Securities Group and CFO of W.H. Ireland Group.
Gurney “brings with him both good knowledge of AIM [the alternative investment market] from his time as CFO of W.H. Ireland, and very relevant knowledge of part of the market space in which our regulatory compliance business operates,” John Wisbey, Lombard CEO, says in a statement.
