Financial technology services and software provider Broadridge Financial Solutions has hired a Thomson Reuters veteran Christopher J. Perry as its new president of global sales, marketing and client solutions, according to a company statement.
When Perry moves into the new role in September, he will report to Richard J. Daly, Broadridge’s president and CEO.
Perry has more than 25 years of experience in banking, brokerage and financial information services.
Prior to joining Broadridge, he served as global managing director of risk for the financial and risk division of Thomson Reuters. He also worked at Thomson Financial for the past 14 years, and from 2011 to 2013, served as president of global sales and account management, according to the statement.
In that role, he oversaw 3,500 professionals worldwide in sales, marketing, solutions and service for Thomson Reuters’ Financial and Risk division, which generates nearly $7 billion in annual revenue, according to officials.
“Chris’s deep background in technology-based services, regulation and financial sales complements Broadridge’s growth aspirations,” says Timothy C. Gokey, chief operating officer (COO) at Broadridge, in a written statement. “Chris brings a track record in client solutions for global accounts that will also be an asset to both Broadridge and our clients.”
