Calypso Technology has hired Mark Abrams, a former vice president at OpenLink Financial, as a sales executive for North American sales.
Calypso officials decline to comment upon employment situations, but Abrams confirmed he’s been with the firm since June.
During his six years at OpenLink Financial as vice president of sales, North America, Abrams led major enterprise sales efforts for the vendor’s derivatives management and capital markets software solutions. Abrams “defined and doubled market share during first four years while competing against better known players in market vertical,” according to his LinkedIn page.
Abrams’ past positions include five years as an account manager for trading system sales for Bloomberg’s Trade Order Management enterprise solutions to asset managers and broker dealers.
Calypso provides front-to-back cross-asset technology solutions for trading, processing, risk management and accounting.
