Guy Warren has joined ITRS Group, a provider of performance monitoring and management technology, as its CEO, replacing Kevin Covington, who will remain a senior advisor to ITRS, according to a company statement.
Warren has more than 25 years of experience running software businesses and working with companies in ITRS’s target market. He previously spent two years with FNX Group as its chief operating officer (COO) and European CEO, and served as COO for the FTSE Group, according to the statement.
While at FTSE, Warren used ITRS’s Geneos software to monitor real-time platforms that calculated and distributed the FTSE’s real-time indices, according to the statement. He reports that by using Geneos he was able to achieve better than 99.99 percent uptime.
Warren also spent several years as an executive vice president and general manager at Misys Banking, a banking software provider.
“Guy has a wealth of experience of both running companies within the software sector and also companies which rely on software to run their businesses,” says Richard Berliand, chairman of ITRS, in a prepared statement. “He is, therefore, well placed to bring ITRS to the next stage of its growth.”
