eFront, a software provider of financial solutions for managing alternative investments, has named the former executive chairman and CEO of financial services software giant Misys Bret Bolin to be a non-executive director of the board, say eFront officials.
In addition, eFront has named John Ellsworth as vice president of product management.
Bolin has more than 20 years of software and technology experience, including a term as president and CEO of P2 Energy Solutions and chief financial officer (CFO) of Ventyx.
Ellsworth’s career has focused on product management most recently at Dassault Systems, “but prior to this [he] has held numerous other senior and executive posts in organizations such as Lotus Development, Pragmatech Software, Kadient, Inc.,” according to eFront’s statement.
“Both new appointments arose from our need to seek new talent to manage this effort and ensure eFront’s continued success,” says Olivier Dellenbach, eFront CEO and founder, adding that they will be faced with an increasing rate of change in the industry.
Founded in 1999, eFront services clients worldwide from offices in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America.
