FTF unveils the nominees for the FTF News Technology Innovation Awards 2023.
We are pleased to announce that voting has begun for the nominees of the FTF News Technology Innovation Awards 2023, a competition overseen by Financial Technologies Forum (FTF) and the news service. Industry participants pick the winners.
Voting began on March 20 when we officially unveiled the nominees and will end on April 28. We accepted submissions for nominations from January 17 to March 3.
The FTF Awards effort, begun in 2011, is an annual celebration and recognition of the professionals, financial technology vendors, service providers, industry bodies, regulators, and other industry participants that have demonstrated operational excellence.
We have 30 competitive categories for this cycle of the awards, which will celebrate achievement in 2022. (The Editor’s Choice award is non-competitive and is decided by the principals of FTF.)

The voting process at the heart of the competition has a few important rules:
- Individuals cannot vote for their own company. This includes public relations firms that represent nominees or a subsidiary or parent company of the nominees. These votes will be automatically disqualified.
- Votes can be cast by industry peers, clients and other relevant industry professionals. Please do not ask spouses, siblings, children, parents, grandparents, random friends, or pets to participate in the voting process.
- Only votes from business e-mail addresses will be considered. Votes from personal e-mail addresses will not be counted; and
- We highly encourage nominees to ask their clients to take part in the submission and voting processes.

The winners are slated to be announced on May 22. As for the awards gala celebration, the plan is to gather the winners and their guests at a New York City venue in October 2023.
