FII wants to streamline IPO processes via North American exchanges.
Financial Information Inc. (FII), a provider of corporate action data and historical reference services, has unveiled its North American Exchange Initial Public Offering (IPO) Service.
Aimed at investment firms, financial institutions, and consultancies operating in U.S. markets, the service is intended to streamline IPO processes on North American exchanges by collating comprehensive data and insights to help customers better analyze IPO-related activities.
The service provides detailed, end-to-end coverage of the IPO timeline, enabling users to track market events from start to finish. It also examines trading activity around pivotal milestones, such as the expiration of lock-up periods, offering valuable insights into market sentiment. Additionally, it monitors Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) activities, with a particular focus on developments during the dissolution phase.
Currently, the IPO service is available through FII’s web platform and multiple data formats. However, in the future, it plans to expand this to application programming interface (API) integration and Snowflake support. The vendor says the initial rollout is all part of a broader effort at FII to deliver more accessible and actionable data so institutional investors wading through the U.S. market, are better able to navigate its complexities.
