Pemberton hopes to achieve efficiencies for its portfolio management system and to scale its private debt and CLO businesses
European private debt manager Pemberton Capital Advisors has selected Ops systems and services provider Broadridge Financial Solutions’ Sentry Private Credit Portfolio Management platform, officials say.
The technology is intended to help Pemberton achieve operational efficiencies throughout its portfolio management lifecycle and scale its private debt and collateralized loan obligation (CLO) businesses to meet growing demand, officials say.
The Sentry platform targets key activities within private credit workflows, including portfolio management, research, hypothetical position analysis, trading, and compliance. Officials from Pemberton say Sentry was selected for its ease of use and robust functionality, which allowed for a smooth implementation process.
Backed by European insurer Legal & General, Pemberton is focused on growing its CLO and private debt business. Officials at the firm say the Broadridge platform will enable it to scale efficiently, amid a growth in the private credit space. According to a recent Preqin report, investors are forecasted to manage US$2.3 trillion by 2027 in private credit by 2027, up from US$1.5 trillion today.
Pemberton’s global investor base includes insurance companies, corporate and public pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, private wealth managers, and other institutional investors.
