Enterprise data management (EDM) vendor AIM Software has appointed Ian Grow as its new director of sales for North America, officials say.
Grow will be based in Washington, D.C. and will report to AIM’s Vienna, Austria-based Chief Commercial Officer Josef Sommeregger, officials say.
In his new role, Grow will be responsible for “supporting and expanding AIM Software’s customer portfolio in North America, leveraging AIM Software’s success in the region,” according to a company statement.
Grow has more than 15 years of experience in finance and information management, and has held several senior sales and management positions at firms such as Advent Software, Thompson Reuters and Baseline Financial.
“Ian understands the needs of the buy-side community in the North American market and as we support more applications, we can quickly match the right solution to our clients’ demand,” says Sommeregger, in a prepared statement. “Grow’s wealth of experience in serving the asset management industry will help AIM Software develop and grow opportunities and better serve customers and partners in the region.”
