Charles River, a front- and middle-office investment management solution provider, reports that Krung Thai Asset Management (KTAM), a Bangkok-based, state of Thailand-owned asset management firm, has picked the Charles River investment management solution (IMS), delivered as a managed application.
“Over the past decade, Charles River has built a strong reputation for understanding and addressing the unique needs of Thailand’s asset managers,” Cameron Field, Charles River’s managing director-APAC, says in the statement. The vendor’s managed solution “helps firms like KTAM, simplify and streamline investment management processes, and significantly increase productivity throughout the organization,” Field says.
Krung Thai Asset Management, founded in 1999, is a state enterprise, with 99.99% of its shares held by Krung Thai Bank Public Company Ltd., according to the Charles River statement, which notes also that, as of January 2015, KTAM “has assets under management of 605,032 Million Baht.”
Charles River has more than 350 investment firm clients, in more than 40 countries, in institutional asset and fund management, private wealth, alternative investments, insurance, banking, and pension markets, the company says.
