Delta Capita, an international consultancy delivering business and technology solutions to financial services firms, has added industry veteran Kevin Covington to its board as a non-executive director, officials say.
Covington most recently was CEO of application performance and management technology provider ITRS, a position he held for four years.
“Prior to becoming CEO, I worked with the founders of the business, initially in the role of non-executive director and later as deputy CEO, to grow and position the business for ‘new investment,’ ” according to Covington’s LinkedIn page. He says he gained more experience as CEO when ITRS became backed by private equity firms in 2011.
“Delta Capita is experiencing an exciting period of growth, underlined by a number of key industry engagements including appointment as consulting partner to the Plato Partnership,” Covington says in a statement. “My core role will be to build on Delta Capita’s achievements in bringing innovative IP-led technology solutions to market to solve real client problems. I will also be working closely with the senior management team to support the next stage of business growth.”
Delta Capita, established in 2010 by Joe Channer, Bimal Umeria and Petri Arola, is the consulting partner to the Plato Partnership consortium, which includes Axa Investment Managers, Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management, Fidelity Worldwide Investment, Franklin Templeton, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, and Norges Bank Investment, officials say.
