Business and technology consultancy Capco has appointed Jonathan Rose, a former Barclays executive, as a partner for its UK team.
Rose has previously worked as a managing director, chief operating officer (COO) and chief investment officer (CIO) at Barclays bank, according to Capco’s statement.
At Barclays, Rose’s managed IT service delivery, transformation, management and strategy as well as regulatory compliance, outsourcing and control and governance, Capco officials say. “On the consulting side, Jonathan brings over 10 years’ experience with knowledge around strategy, business process re-engineering, operating model design and business transformation. He has also founded and headed up two technology start-ups,” according to Capco.
Based in London, Rose will be responsible for “the creation and delivery of new business propositions across the banking sector,” according to a Capco statement. Rose’s background is in banking and financial services, as well as consulting. He was also previously a partner at outsourcing provider and consultancy Accenture, according to his LinkedIn profile.
