BI-SAM, a provider of performance measurement and attribution, risk analytics and client reporting solutions, has filled a keyboard of director position and hired two executives.
BI-SAM’s changes include appointing Donal Smith, a member of the board of directors, to the post of non-executive chairman of the board; Paul Mattison to the post of chief financial officer and chief administrative officer; and William Haney to the post of chief operating officer, enterprise software, according to a company statement.
Calling the three men “enterprising, inspirational and battle-tested,” Alexandre Harkous, group CEO, said in a company statement that they are a key part of BI-SAM’s plan for growing by “strengthening our organizational structure and enabling our teams to focus on product innovation while delivering excellent service to all our clients.”
Formerly, Smith, a BI-SAM board member since 2012, was CEO of securities-lending data specialist Data Explorers, CEO of Thomson Financial’s businesses in Europe and Asia, and CEO of FT.com, according to the statement.
Mattison’s previous positions include posts as CFO with MLM Information Services, MarketWatch and FAME Information Services.
Haney joined BI-SAM recently, after 15 years with Thomson Reuters, according to the statement.
BI-SAM is an acronym for Business Intelligence Solutions for Asset Management.
