Financial Technologies Forum is excited to announce that Eugene Grygo has joined FTF as Editor of its new online publication scheduled to launch next month. The newsletter will cover relevant industry issues and breaking news in the financial technology space with particular focus on securities operations. Eugene comes to FTF with 27 years of experience as a business and technology journalist. Most recently, he managed a Dow Jones/Financial News website for breaking news about investment banking, the private equity sector, asset managers, the pension fund industry and structured products. He has been covering Wall Street for 14 years and helped launch SCREEN Markets and SCREEN Magazine in 2007. The groundbreaking publication focused on the major market data and financial technology management issues that challenge global institutions. He was also the founding editor of Trading Technology Week – which later became Dealing with Technology – a global newsletter of exclusive news about the IT systems sell-side firms implemented for mission critical transactions. He won the 2000 Gold Award from the American Society of Business Publication Editors for a feature story on an IT project at the US Mint. In addition, he was recognised at Incisive Media and InfoWorld by the senior editorial staff and management who spotlighted his achievements with internal awards. He is an alumnus of The Pennsylvania State University where he earned degrees in journalism and history.
