Bravura Solutions, a supplier of software and professional services to pension, investment and private wealth sectors among others, has promoted Terry McCann as its new chief information officer (CIO), according to a company statement.
McCann was previously head of IT, hosting services at Bravura.
The move comes as Bravura sees increased interest in its managed servicing offering across the Asia-Pacific region, according to the statement, and a large part of McCann’s new role “will be to support and grow this area of the business.”
In addition to that and overseeing the state of Bravura’s technology systems in general, McCann will also be responsible for developing “a testing and performance framework to enhance collaboration with clients.”
“With 80 per cent of our EMEA clients using our managed services, and increasing interest worldwide, a clear trend is emerging,” says McCann in the statement. “We see a shift in the way organizations provision software and it marks a growing acceptance of the cloud and the use of third party providers.”
