SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc., a provider of financial services software and software-enabled services, reports that Samuel D. Eckelmann has rejoined the Windsor, Conn.-based company, where he was previously managing director, as vice president, strategic software development.
The software architect and consultant is a 30-plus-years veteran, and has “performed numerous engagements for the world’s top financial services firms and service providers,” according to an SS&C statement. “These firms include Fidelity, Putnam Investments, and Salomon Smith Barney.”
In his earlier tour at SS&C, Eckelmann was “responsible for directing the ongoing development and maintenance of the CAMRA investment accounting system,” SS&C’s flagship platform, according to the statement.
SS&C, founded in 1986, tallies approximately 7,000 financial services organization that use its products and services. “These clients in the aggregate manage over $26 trillion in assets,” the company says.
