Clay Stevenson, Managing Director and Global Head of Sanctions & Embargoes, Deutsche Bank

Clay Stevenson is a Managing Director and Global Head of Sanctions & Embargoes for Deutsche Bank, assuming the role in 2023. From October 2019 through 2022, Clay served as the Head of Sanctions & Embargoes in the Americas.  Prior to Joining Deutsche Bank, Clay worked for two years as an independent consultant specializing in economic sanctions matters, predominantly involving non-US banks under US enforcement orders. From 2009 to 2017, Clay was the global head of sanctions compliance at Bank of America, and concurrently led its anti-bribery/anti-corruption function from 2015-2016. From 2007 to 2009, Clay was the head of sanctions compliance at Merrill Lynch. And from 1999 through 2007, Clay served with the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), working first in the Compliance Division and later in what is now the Office of Global Targeting, the group responsible for OFAC’s sanctions investigation activities. Clay received his BA from the George Washington University and his MA from the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies.

Jeremy Brayman, Director of Global Sanctions, Schwab

Jeremy Brayman is the Director of Global Sanctions at Schwab, where he oversees all aspects of the firm’s Global Sanctions program, including operations, policy, and technology. Jeremy was previously a principal at Palantir Technologies, where he led the company’s efforts in the illicit finance space. Prior to that, Jeremy served for over a decade at the U.S. Treasury Department, where he held leadership positions within the department’s Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence. Jeremy received his Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and German from Tufts University, and his Master’s Degree in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University.

Danny McGlynn, President & Chief Integrity Officer, Institute for Financial Integrity

Danny is President and Chief Integrity Officer of the Institute for Financial Integrity. As Chief Integrity Officer, Danny is responsible for driving the culture of IFI by ensuring integrity, transparency, and accountability within the organization and fostering the community within its DOLFIN (Dedicated Online Financial Integrity Network) member network. Bringing to bear over two decades at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Danny works with the IFI team to provide operationally useful training and resources to financial integrity professionals to help sharpen their skills and enhance their expertise to meet heightened regulatory expectations in the areas of anti-money laundering, sanctions compliance, and other financial integrity topics. Prior to IFI, Danny was a senior managing director at K2 Integrity for nearly four years, responsible for leading the DOLFIN team. Danny also held positions as Treasury’s liaison to the U.S. Central Command, as a Compliance Specialist and Investigator for OFAC, and as a Presidential Management Fellow. Danny received a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law, an M.A. from Florida International University in international studies, and a B.S. from Florida State University in international affairs. He was awarded the Stuart Levey Award in recognition of his dedicated service to and leadership of the Treasury Department’s Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence. Show Less

Oliver Bodmer, Product Management Director, SIX

Oliver Bodmer is the Product Management Director at SIX Financial Information, based in Switzerland, where he oversees the strategy for KYC, AML and Sanctions and leads customer implementation projects in the above areas in locations across the globe – gaining a deep domain expertise in sanctions landscapes internationally. Prior to SIX, Oliver served in AML and anti-trust capacities in banking groups, large international technology companies, and the Swiss Anti-Trust Department. Oliver has a master’s degree in economics and an Executive MBA from EPFL Switzerland and the University of Texas at Austin, and has served as a subject matter expert on sanctions, compliance, and AML in the Financial Times, Corporate Compliance Insights, Global Banking and Finance, and Compliance Week.
