The investment technology vendor promotes to fill the CEO post and creates the role of executive chairman.
Investment technology vendor Eze Software Group has given Jeffrey Shoreman, the current president, the additional role of CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2017, and at the same time will be moving current CEO Pete Sinisgalli into the new Executive Chairman role.
The new executive leadership structure will mean that Shoreman will oversee day-to-day operations and will be responsible for “driving growth and customer satisfaction,” while Sinisgalli in his new post will drive strategic initiatives, vendor officials say.
“Given our growth in customers, employees, products and markets, it’s an opportune time to extend our executive leadership by appointing Jeff Shoreman as our next CEO,” Sinisgalli says in a prepared statement.
During 2016, Eze Software Group has expanded its client base to more than 2,000, and expanded its headcount to more than 1,000 employees, officials say. The company also opened new offices in Toronto and Hyderabad.
“So far, we’ve hired about 100 net through Oct. 31, 2016,” a spokesperson for Eze Software Group tells FTF News. “This compares to 99 net hires made in 2015.”
In addition, Eze Software Group has “signed 229 new clients through Oct. 31, 2016. This is versus 275 in all of 2015,” the spokesperson says.
Shoreman has been with the vendor since 1999, and has held a several positions, including chief operating officer (COO) from 2005 to 2012, and before that he was chief technology officer (CTO), officials say. He also has served as executive managing director on the executive committee for former parent company ConvergEx Group from 2006 until the formation of Eze Software Group in 2013.
“I have been fortunate to be a part of Eze’s growth from its very early days as a Boston-based investment-software startup to the globally focused and growing company we are today,” Shoreman says in a statement.
Sinisgalli, who joined Eze Software as CEO in 2014, was president and CEO of Manhattan Associates, a software solutions vendor for supply chain management,
from 2004 through 2012. Prior to Manhattan Associates, Sinisgalli spent a year at NewRoads, Inc., a privately held third-party fulfillment provider, where he held the position of president and CEO. Prior to that, Sinisgalli spent six years at CheckFree Corp. where his last position was as president and COO.
The Eze Software Group offers front, middle and back office products including the Eze Software Investment Suite. The vendor offers solutions for asset managers such as order management, trade execution and analytics, portfolio analytics and modeling, compliance and regulatory reporting, commission management, data management and portfolio and investor accounting, officials say.
