SS&C Technologies, a provider of financial services software and software-enabled services, reports that its MarketTrader will be FBN Securities’ order management system (OMS).
In a statement SS&C, founded in 1986, characterizes FBN, established in 1983, as a “boutique institutional brokerage firm, which provides its clients with a variety of services including equity and derivative execution, investment research, comprehensive trading strategies, corporate access, capital introduction, and syndicate services.”
FBN is a member of the New York Stock Exchange, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and the Securities Investor Protection Corp., according to the statement, which also notes that MarketTrader “enables the company to operate more efficiently at every step of the trading process: from order capture (via FIX or manually) to execution, transaction and compliance reporting.”
“In the end, partnering with SS&C was an easy decision based on professionalism, expertise and technology. Together with SS&C, we are able to better serve our clients’ rapidly evolving needs,” Gregory Naso, FBN managing director, says in the statement. “The SS&C team worked around the clock to ensure a seamless OMS migration. We have been extremely pleased with the features and functionality.”
