Options, a cloud-based services and IT infrastructure provider to capital markets, has appointed a former NYSE Technologies sales executive, Helen Viccars, to the global sales team, officials say.
Viccars, who was responsible for EMEA sales and account management at NYSE Technologies, joins Options as vice president, the European sales and account management team, officials say.
Viccars will be responsible for driving new business growth, evolving relationships with key strategic clients and ensuring customer success across new and existing clients, officials say. Her arrival follows the announcement last month that Options has opened a new central London office to accommodate growing staff numbers and to facilitate expansion plans through the end of the year and into 2016.
Viccars has 12-plus years’ experience in sales, account management and marketing. During her five years at NYSE Technologies, Viccars managed some of the company’s largest and most prestigious global accounts, and was primarily responsible for selling electronic trading solutions across the EMEA region, officials say.
“Alongside the expansion of our London office and a number of high-profile client wins, Helen’s arrival is indicative of a very positive 12 months for Options’ European business,” says Richard Hughes, Options managing director for Europe in a prepared statement. “She will play a key role in sustaining this momentum.”
The Options platform is used by global investment banks, hedge funds, funds of funds, proprietary trading firms, market makers, broker/dealers, private equity houses and exchanges.
