Indus Valley Partners (IVP), a vendor of alternative asset management solutions, has hired Sachin Kachhla, a former executive at portfolio management system provider Tradar, to be its managing director for sales and client relations, officials say.
“Kachhla established and grew the North American business of Tradar,” say IVP officials, “from under five clients to over fifty. He was then instrumental in selling the company to Eze Castle Software.” At Eze Castle Software, Kachhla was a member of the executive sales team, helping the growth of Tradar in the Americas to more than 100 clients.
Kachhla, who has more than a decade of experience advising hedge funds and asset management firms, “will be key in our efforts to further develop relationships and expand IVP into adjacent markets and new geographies,” says Gurvinder Singh, CEO and co-founder of IVP. “Sachin is a talented relationship manager and business development executive who understands the needs of our client base,” Singh adds.
IVP has had a 45% jump in subscription revenue year-on –year, officials say. The vendor has more than 100 fund manager clients “representing a sizeable chunk of global hedge fund AUM,” officials say.
