Spencer Knibbe, co-founder and managing partner at management consulting and talent sourcing firm Quoin Partners, is moving to Full Moon Talent as a partner and head of its governance, risk and compliance (GRC) practice.
The move comes after Full Moon Talent, a talent and consultancy firm specializing in IT and risk management hiring, recently acquired Quoin, creating the largest talent acquisition firm focused on GRC in the U.S., according to a company statement.
“The combination of GRC experience and exclusive focus truly positions us as the leading source of governance, risk and compliance talent in the market today,” says Knibbe, in a written statement. “We’ve been on the front lines as risk managers and as such are the best equipped to partner with clients to efficiently identify the right resources.”
Knibbe co-founded Quoin in 2013 and his background includes working as a venture capital associate, managing an operational department, heading risk for the Americas region of interdealer broker ICAP and overseeing operational risk management for Bridgewater Associates.
The acquisition closed on June 9. Knibbe confirmed in a phone call that Full Moon Talent acquired all of Quoin’s assets. However, he declined to discuss which Quoin employees would be moving to Full Moon Talent along with him.
Full Moon Talent, headquartered in Westport, Conn. was founded in 2011.
