Broker-dealer Mizuho Securities USA has selected Xenomorph’s TimeScape data and analytics management system to replace its previous platform, according to Xenomorph officials.
“Xenomorph’s TimeScape positions us to not only manage the complexities of today’s data and analytics environment, but also ensures our platform is built to handle the challenges of tomorrow,” says Sandy Kapoor, chief technology officer, Mizuho Securities USA in a prepared statement.
MSUSA chose TimeScape for “its ability to provide greater data model flexibility, data cost savings and faster processing times,” according to the statement. The broker-dealer’s customized TimeScape platform will acquire, standardize and deploy market and reference data culled from several data sources for a variety of asset classes, officials say.
TimeScape imports and stores data from vendors using SQL Server Integration Packages, which enables simple crosschecking between TimeScape’s stored data and data in raw vendor files, officials say.
“TimeScape provides MSUSA with enhanced control of its data on a centralized platform and the means to easily visualize and extract business-critical data and also a platform that will accommodate changes with ease,” says Naj Alavi, managing director for Xenomorph in a statement.
Xenomorph is an analytics and data management firm with offices in London, New York and Singapore.
