The asset servicing business of the National Australia Bank has deployed Eagle Performance module from Eagle Investment Systems to service the investment performance measurement requirements of more than 70 asset management clients, officials say.
NAB is already a customer of the vendor Eagle for its data management technology, vendor officials say.
Officials at NAB say they are incorporating Eagle Performance into its investment management platform and will use various performance attribution styles such as the Brinson Fachler equity attribution model. The Brinson Fachler approach could help NAB determine the difference between the portfolio return and the benchmark return more accurately, Eagle officials say.
With the deployment, NAB, based in Melbourne, can serve clients from one platform and help cut down on the risks and costs of managing multiple performance measurement systems and manual processes, say Eagle officials.
