Established players and newcomers are among the nominees for the fifth annual FTF News Technology Innovation Awards
Reflecting the diversity of the Ops industry, established players such as Eagle Investment Systems and SmartStream and newcomers such as DataBoiler and Duco are among the nominees for the fifth annual FTF News Technology Innovation Awards, which are being announced today.
Voting on the nominees starts today and continues until March 25, 2015. The winners will be selected via an online voting process and only eligible industry participants can vote. The winners and the Editor’s Choice award recipient will be announced April 21, 2015, the first day of Financial Technologies Forum’s two-day DerivOps North America 2015 derivatives processing conference in Chicago.
The awards presentation and gala dinner will be held June 2, 2015 at the Rainbow Room on the 65th floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
The FTF News Technology Innovation Awards honor achievement in 2014 via 26 industry-specific categories and one Editor’s Choice award. Qualified voters select the winners from the nominees who were chosen by their peers.
The number of people taking part in the FTF News Technology Innovation awards process has been growing year over year.
“For 2015, there were more than 250 quality nominations from FinTech providers offering solutions and services for all things middle- and back-office,” says Maureen Lowe, president and founder of Financial Technologies Forum and publisher of FTF News. “We are looking forward to celebrating with the industry leaders from the provider and end-user communities at the Rainbow Room, which will mark the close of our SecOps USA event in New York,” Lowe adds.
The awards process honors vendors, service providers, financial services firms and individuals. The dominance of key Ops players is reflected in the nominations: SS&C garnered 11; SmartStream has eight; Eagle Investment Systems has six; SunGard has seven; and Eze Software Group has four.
For instance, in the Service Provider of the Year category, the nominees are Eagle Investment Systems, Eze Software Group, Smarsh, SmartStream and SS&C Technologies.
