Reconciliation technology vendor Gresham Computing has hired Shaleen Dastur from NorthPoint Solutions and appointed her senior sales executive, responsible for the sales of Gresham’s Clareti Transaction Control (CTC) system in North America, Gresham officials confirm.
Dastur, who joined the London-based Gresham in July 2014, has a decade of financial services industry experience in selling software products and solutions to both traditional and alternative asset managers in New York, Boston, and London, officials say.
At NorthPoint, Dastur was head of sales for the vendor’s financial service practice, officials say. She worked for NorthPoint from September 2004 to July 2014 with past positions including business development manager posts for New York and London.
NorthPoint offers a single operating platform of modules such as trade order management, portfolio management, securities master, price master and data warehouse applications, officials say. The vendor also offers regulatory and investor reporting (RIR) that can be added to the platform or be deployed stand alone.
Gresham’s CTC targets operational risk, financial transaction loss events, business performance, manual workarounds, and regulatory requirements, officials say. The vendor also helps firms replace the use of spreadsheets for reconciliation processes.
