Managed services provider Options has appointed former KPMG auditor Brian McKimm as its chief financial officer (CFO), officials say.
In his new role, McKimm will be responsible for overseeing the development of Options’ global finance function across Europe, the U.S. and Asia, with “a particular focus on investor relations and strategic finance projects,” according to a company statement. He will also be tasked with ensuring the vendor has the necessary financial management capabilities to support Options’ continued growth plans.
At KPMG, McKimm headed up the firm’s Internal Audit division and worked with a number of clients both local and international, officials say. Since leaving KPMG, McKimm also served as an investment director with Emerald Development Managers, and as the CFO of ecoLegacy, a Dublin-based, clean-tech start-up.
“In the context of the firm’s wider standing within the financial services sector, Brian joins Options at a pivotal time as we continue to scale the company across three continents,” says Options CEO, Nigel Kneafsey, in a statement. “We expect 2015 to be an exciting year in terms of new customer acquisitions and someone of Brian’s experience will prove crucial in driving this growth.”
