The Australian asset manager will be deploying GIDS from SS&C.
Perennial Partners will be deploying a transfer agency and investor servicing system, the Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) from SS&C Technologies, to streamline unit registry/call center services across its financial product lines, according to the Australian asset manager.
“SS&C’s Managed Fund Administration unit will provide a full range of services to Perennial’s investors across all fund types, including active ETFs, unlisted and dual-listed funds, and private equity,” according to the announcement.
“As we’ve grown, we have wanted to streamline unit registry/call center services across all of our products listed managed funds, unit trusts and vclp [venture capital limited partnership]/private asset,” says Suzanne Bentley, head of operations at Perennial Partners, in a prepared statement. “SS&C’s expansive expertise in the Australian market has enabled us to consolidate the investor experience to a single platform which will enhance the service experience for our advisers and clients.”
SS&C had already been servicing unlisted and dual-listed funds for Perennial Partners, officials add.
“After a thorough market evaluation process, Perennial expanded its mandate to include all fund types. SS&C’s services will include transaction and distribution processing, AML/KYC, regulatory reporting, call center services, and the Digital 360 investor services suite,” officials say.
Based in Sydney, New South Wales, Perennial Partners was established in 2016 to provide investment partners with strategic, operational, and distribution expertise while allowing them to focus on managing money, officials say.
