Software and systems vendor SimCorp has hired Marc Mallet to be its vice president of product and managed services for North America, tasked with the expansion of these offerings in the region, officials say.
Based in Chicago, Mallett will “lead an expanded North American team to ensure SimCorp continues to provide innovative solutions to the market,” according to a SimCorp statement.
Mallett has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, and has previously helped asset managers and asset servicing firms “successfully design, develop and implement global operating models,” according to the company statement. During his career, he served in a number of leadership positions, including chief operating officer (COO) at specialist consultancy Citisoft, vice president of technology at Fidelity Investments and director of professional services at Thomson Reuters.
Mallett’s experience spans all segments of the financial services industry “including asset management, asset servicing, financial technology and professional services,” says James Corrigan, managing director for SimCorp North America, in a prepared statement.
