SimCorp, a provider of investment management solutions and services for the financial services industry, has appointed Jens Olivarius to be its new head of group marketing and communications, officials say.
Olivarius joins SimCorp after a career at SAS Institute, where he held positions both in Denmark and internationally. Most recently, Olivarius was senior director of marketing and communication for the Nordic Region. Prior to that, according to SimCorp, he held several senior positions in the global marketing organization at SAS Institute’s corporate headquarters in the US, where he was located for more than 10 years.
Olivarius joined SimCorp’s group management committee and began his new role on July 1, 2014.
“His experience spans across corporate communication, marketing and sales, and he has consistently demonstrated the ability to meet targets and deliver results,” Klaus Holse, CEO at SimCorp, says in the statement. “We look forward to benefitting from his vast international background and to driving SimCorp’s marketing and communication efforts even further.”
