John McManus leads sales, business development and client relationship management at SIX Financial Information across US, UK and Ireland. He joined SIX in 2004. Over the last 13 years John has helped firms across capital markets to efficiently understand and resolve the many data complexities arising from new regulatory regimes and reporting requirements. Most recently John has chaired client focus groups aimed at seeking a common understanding of the information requirements for regulations impacting cross border trading, including; Investor Protection, MiFID II, Fatca and IRS 871m.
Prior to joining SIX Financial information, John led a successful career in business consultancy with KPMG and Zarion. John graduated with a Master of Business Studies in Organisational Change and Development from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance from University College Dublin. He began his career as an institutional trader for Fidelity Investments.
