Well, we’ve done it again. We pooled our vast editorial resources and put together another digital magazine for you. This time, the Summer/Fall 2013 edition takes on information challenges in a new way by focusing on the “New Rules of Operational Data Management.” We want to help you cope with emerging and ongoing data challenges of post-trade functions. We have features on the data chores for over-the-counter collateral and margining for swaps, the products and services that exploit the legal entity identifier standard, the information demands of reconciliation/exception management, the reporting chores of Form PF, and the prospect of data silos hampering firms and their adherence to the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act.
We also provide insight into the development of an enterprise-wide strategy that could or could not involve data warehouses.
While we know the digital version looks stunning online and on mobile devices, we decided to have an old-fashioned, limited print run, which debuted at this week’s Sifma Tech show. The printed versions will be available at FTF’s forthcoming events while the digital version will be available online.
Whether in print or online, we encourage you to give us feedback on our coverage of the issues that profoundly impact your post-trade responsibilities. Tell us where hit the mark or missed it. Let us know what issues are coming that we should be aware of as we formulate our coverage for the rest of this year and beyond.
In order to do that, though, we need you to download the digital magazine of FTF News. Access to this issue is free. We only ask that you fill out the form, click download, follow some slightly technical instructions if there’s a delay, and enjoy.
