Wolters Kluwer Financial Services reports that industry veteran Richard Reeves has joined as vice president of strategy for its governance, finance, risk and compliance (GFRC) solution suite, OneSumX.
Reeves will “work directly with Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ product management, sales, marketing and business development teams to help customers across the globe utilize OneSumX to address risks and business issues in the context of a much larger and holistic way of managing GFRC,” the company says.
Reeves has more than 30 years of financial services industry experience. “Most recently, he was senior director with Algorithmics/IBM, were he led the Business Intelligence Group,” according to a statement.
Before IBM, Reeves was a managing director for SunGard WhiteLight Systems “where he developed a Basel II team and solution based on the WhiteLight Analytic Server technology,” Wolters Kluwer officials say. “In addition, he was a senior manager with KPMG, responsible for teams in the U.K. and U.S. offering financial service consulting services. Early in his career, Reeves was an IT consultant and project manager for risk management software implementations.”
Wolters Kluwer Financial Services is part of Wolters Kluwer, which is headquartered in Alphen aan den Rijn, the Netherlands. In 2013, its annual revenues were €3.6 billion ($4.7 billion), WKFS says. The parent company employs 19,000 employees worldwide, and maintains operations in over 40 countries across Europe, North America, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
