Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory Solutions, a provider of solutions and expertise for compliance professionals, has named Gregory Samios to be president and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business.
Samios, a 20-year veteran whose appointment becomes effective September 8, 2014, succeeds Robert Lemmond in the post.
Samios joins Wolters Kluwer from Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, where he served as the president of health programs. Samios also has held senior publishing positions at Reed Elsevier, including president of Excerpta Media, the medical education and communications division, and senior vice president of strategy and development for Elsevier Health Sciences, according to a WK statement.
“Professionals turn to Law & Business when they need actionable insight and information,” Stacey Caywood, CEO, Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory Solutions, says in the statement, in which he also notes that he is “very pleased that Greg will now carry forward Law & Business’s innovative, customer-centered mandate.”
Wolters Kluwer Law & Business is a unit of the Legal & Regulatory Solutions division of Wolters Kluwer, officials say. The division provides content, solutions, software, and services for legal, business, and regulatory compliance.
