Wolters Kluwer Financial Services reports that Pamela Govostes has joined the company as an enterprise risk management (ERM) consultant.
Govostes will “advise clients on risk management strategies and provide risk management consulting services on large-scale OneSumX GRC implementations,” according to a WKFS statement, referring to the company’s solution for managing governance, risk and compliance.
She also will offer guidance to internal teams, including sales and marketing, by serving as “a subject matter expert on risk management trends and developments,” WKFS notes.
Prior to joining WKFS, Govostes worked for financial institutions and consulting firms in the U.S., Hong Kong and Beijing and “helped develop Asia-Pacific market entry strategies for global financial institutions setting up hubs in Asia,” according to the statement. “She also redesigned and implemented the credit risk management framework for a large bank in mainland China by leading a cross-functional team of cross-border consultants,” officials say.
“The addition of Pamela to our team underscores Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ commitment to helping ensure financial services organizations are well-equipped to address a myriad of new compliance requirements and increasing operational risk,” Stephen M. Cross, senior director, WKFS compliance and advisory services, says in a prepared statement.
